Unlike pressure washing, which uses high-pressure water to blast away grime, soft washing relies on a low-pressure stream of water mixed with specialized biodegradable chemicals to achieve a gentler, more effective cleaning process.

The process involves the following steps:

1. Cleaning Solution: A biodegradable and eco-friendly cleaning solution is applied to the surface. This solution is usually a mix of water, bleach (sodium hypochlorite), surfactants, and other cleaning agents. The solution is designed to break down and remove dirt, algae, mold, mildew, and other organic stains without damaging the surface.

2. Dwell Time: After applying the cleaning solution, it is left on the surface for a specific period called the "dwell time." This allows the solution to penetrate and effectively break down the contaminants.

3. Low-Pressure Rinse: Unlike pressure washing, soft washing uses a low-pressure rinse to remove the cleaning solution and the loosened contaminants. The low-pressure water stream is gentle and safe for various surfaces, preventing any damage that could be caused by high-pressure water.
